About us
Tom Fisher started as a 14 year old apprentice with a local
Winchester firm. He immediately realised that
tree surgery was his ambition and he worked weekends until he left sixth form college. He subsequently worked for five years freelancing for various companies, gaining invaluable experience in
Tree Surgery and
Tree care.
During this period he attended Sparsholt Agricultural College where he gained qualifications in:
- Crosscutting and maintenance
- Small felling
- Large felling
- Basic climbing
- Aerial rescue
- Advanced climbing operation of a chainsaw in the canopy
He was one of the last people to be trained by Tony Derbyshire who is widely regarded as one of the best tutors at Sparsholt College for arboriculture.
Tom has now been set up independently for 5 years and receives quality and positive feedback from every job. Going that little bit further seems to make the difference.
